Eye doctor's today. I need a new prescription, plus it has to be bifocals. Or as the store calls it "Progressive" lenses. I have the training wheels version of bifocals because I've never had to wear them before.

So while my regular vision is actually improving, I'm completely blind up close now.

Day 7 of a migraine.

I spent all of yesterday in bed, slept very poorly last night, and had to get up and go to work because I have a deadline today.

I'm so out of here as soon as the work is done.

I was pain-free for about 24 hours. Then of course, I woke up this morning with a migraine. I'm working a 1/2 day today. Hopefully the kick-ass medicine -Relpax- will arrive in the mail today. I'm all out of it. The Imitrex just masks the pain for about 8 hours, while the Relpax knocks it out completely. Of course the Relpax is very expensive ( Read more... )

So I had the root canal yesterday. I needed so much novicaine to numb up that the whole right side of my face was numb. I couldn't even control my right eyelid! It was an adventure driving home. I just put the car on cruise control for the highway parts of the drive ( Read more... )

I'm off to acupuncture.

I suddenly noticed yesterday as I was standing in line to get lunch that I actually felt good. It's been weeks since I felt good. I guess maybe the antibiotics have worked and taken care of the ear and sinus infections.

So I just got back from the doctor's. I'm going to have to go on the Tricor after all, my cholesterol and trygliceride numbers are creeping up.

I also apparently have an ear infection, and a sinus infection. Maybe that's why I've had a continuous migraine for the past month?
